This is footage taken with a small waterproof digital camera of me and Julia swimming to, and finally finding the mast of a sunken fishing boat at the OX-Bow School of Art.
The person recorded here was a cook at the school and he is reading an excerpt from Frankenstein (Mart Shelley) wherein the monster is describing his birth or beginning.
The perceived failure of the demon to communicate in an eloquent manner, and that what he does produce in an effort to express himself comes out as inarticulate or not quite how he envisioned.
